This DVD and chart is geared toward the guitarist who understands basic scales and chords and wants to develop his or her soloing ability. On the DVD Corey Christiansen explains and demonstrates a number of the concepts that jazz musicians use when improvising, including Guide Tones, Targeting, Enclosures and 3 to b9 Movement. He also presents a brief refresher course on scale and mode applications and chord construction. All of these concepts, together with examples of their use in jazz lines, are included on the chart in notation and tablature.
